Avondale
This
Preserve is open and flat and planted in native
vegetation. There is a paved road which
loops through the Preserve which is excellent
for walking, jogging, and biking. This is a popular
birding sight as well.
Parking is off Quail Road, which is off Watch Hill Road.

Champlin
Glacier Park
This
is a wooded Preserve with unusual topography
resulting from the melting of the Glacier.
The Preserve is adjacent to and just east of
the Winnapaug Cottages Developement on Tom
Harvey Road.There are trails throughout the
Preserve which are blazed with white markers
from the Tom Harvey entrance and blue markers
for the southern loop down to Shore Road.

Preserve
This
Preserve can be accessed from the end of Bowling
Lane. It is largely open with excellent access
along the river and there is also a beautiful
view from the top of Big Hill. The trails are
primarily old roads which are easliy followed
and ideal for walking, jogging, biking and
snow shoeing. These trails do not have markers
and no map exists yet.

Riverwood
Preserve
This
Preserve has a great variety of trails which have
been blazed. The lower trail has white markers, the
trail over the top has blue markers, and the connecting
trails have green markers.
Access to this Preserve is difficult at this time - you have to park at the end
of Boyscout Drive - which is legal - and walk in past the Boyscout camp to enter
the Preserve. No trail map is ready yet.
