Hike at Haley Farm State Park, Groton, CT

Join us for our free-guided trail walks on Thursdays. Walks are between 1 ½ to 3 hours and are open to all ages with our target group being agile seniors. Please keep in mind that these are wooded trails with stumps, roots and rocks so be sure to wear hiking boots or good walking shoes. Be aware that our hikes leave promptly so be on time!

All hikers are required to wear 200 square inches of solid daylight fluorescent orange in State Management areas from the second Saturday in September to the last day of February and the third Saturday in April to the last day in May, annually.
THIS HIKE: Haley Farm State Park, Groton, CT
This historic 250-acre farm is located in Groton on Palmer Cove. A pedestrian bridge over the railroad tracks joins Bluff Point State Park and Coastal Reserve to Haley Farm. Directions: From I-95 S, take Exit 88; turn left on Rte 117 and right on Rte 1 at the second light; then, at the next light, turn left on Depot Road; follow this street past Industrial Road and under the railroad tracks; a dirt road leads ahead to the large parking lot and closed gate.
