THIS HIKE: Hoxie Preserve at Canochet Preserve, Hopkinton
This may be a new walk for most of us. It is located in Hopkinton and is part of the Borderland Dark Sky Trail System which stretches from Washington DC up the east coast. The walk will be about 4 miles over wooded trails with some very interesting foundations and rock walls. From Rte 95 North, take exit 2, turn left at the end of the ramp, then turn left onto Rte 3 South (Main St.). Continue for 7.5 miles. Parking area is located on the right at the Preserve sign. From Rte 95 South take exit 2 turn right at end of ramp and follow above directions. Leader: Janice Fifer, 401-213-6479, and email: firstname.lastname@example.org
