DESCRIPTION:Rescheduled to Friday do to inclement weather.\nJoin us for an end of season get together\, as we wrap up our Thursday Hikes and welcome our Thursday Paddles. For this final Thursday Hike of the season\, we will start at Wahaneeta Preserve. The preserve is on left side of Moorehouse Road off Dunns Corner-Bradford Road. Turn in at Trombino Fields sign. All parking must be inside Preserve. After the hike we will return to the starting point and have a picnic at the pavilion. Bring your own lunch\, beverage and lawn chair. \nTo sign up\, please contact hike leader: David Prigmore\, (401)348-2855\, and email: d.bprigmore@gmail.com \nPlease keep in mind that these are wooded trails with stumps\, roots and rocks so be sure to wear hiking boots or good walking shoes. Make sure you bring water and maybe a snack. Hikes leave promptly so please be on time. \nNOTE: This event is FREE to all. Inclement weather cancels and if in doubt\, contact leader. \n***************************************************************************** \nDue to the Covid: \n\nWe realize lots of people have concerns about getting together. Therefore\, please sign up with leader so that person will know how many are coming. If no one signs up the leader may not show up.\nSocial distancing of 6’ apart.\nEveryone needs to have a face mask in case it is needed.\nCarpooling is up to the leader. Keep in mind some folks may be uncomfortable having someone share their vehicle. An alternate way is to caravan.\n\n***************************************************************************** \nFLUORESCENT ORANGE REQUIREMENTS:  \nIn State Management areas everyone is required to wear 200 square inches of solid daylight fluorescent orange from the second Saturday in September to the last day of February and the last Thursday in April to the last day in May\, annually.
