DESCRIPTION:Bring your own kayak/canoe\, paddle\, life jacket\, whistle\, water\, snacks\, etc. Some of us will go swimming. Be aware that our trips leave promptly so please be on time. No vehicle shuttle. We will meet at the Alton Dam and go upstream to Woodville. \nTo sign up please contact paddle leader: Janice Fifer\, (401)213-6479\, and email: jhfifer@verizon.net \nLaunch site: N 41º 26.274’ W 071º 43.360’ \nPLEASE NOTE:  \n\nPFD’s: Personal flotation devices or Life Jackets MUST be worn by all our paddlers properly zipped and/or buckled at all times while on the water\, in the manner intended by the manufacturer. Persons not willing to follow this requirement are not permitted on our trips. Inflatable PFD’s are NOT allowed.\nSound signal (whistle\, horn\, etc.) is required.\nIf weather is questionable\, contact leader.\nIf you wish to have a free vessel safety check contact Sally Hanson. This can be done before or after a paddle as long as Sally is there.
