DESCRIPTION:Bring your own kayak/canoe\, paddle\, life jacket\, whistle\, water\, snacks\, etc. No vehicle shuttle. Bring swimsuit for moonlight dip and jacket in case it’s cool. Take West Beach Road off Rte 1 in Charlestown. Turn right at end of road and follow to end. Go right again until you reach the RI DEM boat launching area. Leader: Elly Heyder\, (401)322-1121\, and email: ellyheyder@yahoo.com      Launch site: N 41º 20.182’ W 071º 43.334’ \nPLEASE NOTE:  \n\nPFD’s: Personal flotation devices or Life Jackets MUST be worn by all our paddlers properly zipped and/or buckled at all times while on the water\, in the manner intended by the manufacturer. Persons not willing to follow this requirement are not permitted on our trips. Inflatable PFD’s are NOT allowed.\nSound signal (whistle\, horn\, etc.) is required.\nIf weather is questionable\, contact leader.\nIf you wish to have a free vessel safety check contact Sally Hanson. This can be done before or after a paddle as long as Sally is there.
