DESCRIPTION:Due to inclement  weather\, this event is postponed to Feb 2.\nIt may be the dead of winter\, but let’s walk\, talk and warm our souls with a guided hike\, fire\, and good eats under the Wolf Moon.\n\n\nBuddle up and grab your headlamps and flashlights for a guided night hike through the hidden gem of Crandall Family Preserve. The Wolf Moon will light up the night as we stroll out to Wolf Island\, where legend has it\, the last wolf in Westerly was ever seen. After our 2 mile hike we will gather around a fire at the overlook where we will share food\, drink and more! Hope to see you all there! \nThis event is FREE for members\, and $10 per person for not-yet members. Not a member\, but would like to be? Click here! \nRegistration required\, spots are limited. \nParking is available on Pound Rd. on the left-hand side in the dirt lot. We will meet and gather at the lot then walk down to the preserve together.

SUMMARY:Souper Bowl Hike LVIII
DESCRIPTION:Kick-off the New Year with a hike at Wahaneeta Preserve followed by a feast of soups. Proceeds will support WLT’s Youth Education programs.\n\n\nJoin fellow hiking superstars for a pass around the preserve and score a bowl of soup! Vegetarian and vegan options are available. This year\, funds raised through this event will go straight to WLT’s youth education programs. Thank you for helping keep our hands-on\, enriching\, outdoor environmental education free of charge\, so that it may be enjoyed by all students. \nAll ages are welcome! \n\nEvent is $25 per person.\nFor $40\, we’ll throw in a Westerly Land Trust neon orange winter hat.\nRegistration required and spots are limited.\nParking is available in the field at Wahaneeta Preserve.\n\nTo reduce waste\, please consider bringing your own bowl and spoon. Cups\, plasticware\, and paper bowls will still be provided as needed. \nTickets are nonrefundable.
