REGISTRATION/ SCHEDULE FOR SPRING 2025 COMING DECEMBER 10!

The Westerly Land Trust is proud to partner with our community’s schools to offer enriching, outdoor, after-school opportunities for our local K-4th graders! Here on WLT preserves, your students will explore, get their hands dirty, experience nature, and have fun with their friends, all while learning directly from the land. Read on for more information about these no cost programs coming this spring.

• Programs listed below are coordinated with Westerly Elementary School (SES, SSS, DCS)
• If you are interested in after-school enrichment for a school that is not listed here please contact Lauren Barber [email protected]
• Programs run until 5:30 PM
• Transportation
  • All students are bussed to program after school
  • Students can be picked up by a guardian or take the bus home after program
• All programs occur on a WLT preserve
• Registration required for each individual program you would like to attend.
• Registration closes for all programs on March 28, 2025

Program 1-Pollinators & Planting: Dig your hands in the soil and discover proper planting and care techniques for a thriving garden at Barlow Nature Preserve. Bonus: Take home your own seedling to nurture!

Program 2- Wildlife & Watersheds: From pond to trails, put your observation skills to the test and use technology to discover the fascinating creatures that call Wahaneeta Preserve home.
