An elusive and integral part of the Rhode Island woods, Fishers are a mysterious and misunderstood mammal we find right in our backyards! Join us as Laken Ganoe, a PhD student at the University of Rhode Island’s Applied Quantitative Ecology Lab, shares her research about the movement and distribution of these marvelous members of the weasel family. Laken will help us unravel the mysteries of the Fisher and share some other interesting observations during her three-year study.
