Join WLT’s stewardship efforts as we manage invasive plants and maintain native grasslands at Grills Preserve.
Winter is a great time to manage unwanted or invasive woody growth in our open habitats. We will remove invasive shrubs, build brush piles, and maintain a matrix of secondary-growth forest and patches of native grasslands across the southern end of the preserve.
Come prepared to work outside with gloves, loppers, and a water bottle. After we are finished the work, we will scramble up to the top of Big Hill and take in the view!
