Dr John Champlin Glacier Park

July 9, 2019 By stratedia

The Dr. John Champlin Glacier Park consists of two parcels totaling 134 acres and was purchased in August 2004. It is entirely recessional moraine kettle and kame topography including ponds, sand barrens and ridges overlooking Winnapaug Pond, Block Island Sound, Block Island and Long Island.

Trails: A large trail system through hilly terrain is accessible from two parking areas; one off of Tom Harvey Road and another on Kettle Close that is just off Shore Road at the entrance to Winnapaug Cottages.
