Quaker Burial Ground

The site of the first Quaker Meetinghouse in Westerly consists of a knoll less than an acre in size surrounded by a stone wall. The site is managed to provide educational information to tourists and local residents about the history and influence of Quakers in Westerly. This property as acquired in November 1999. Visitors may park along the secondary roadway in front of the cemetery gate and walk inside the stone wall perimeter.

Location: US Route 1, west of Dunn’s Corners and across from Dunn’s Corners Community Church.
