Foraged Dinner
Each April, the Westerly Land Trust hosts a Wild Game Dinner to benefit our conservation work. Join us in April as we feast on wonderful foraged food prepared by some of Westerly’s well-known chefs! You will embark on a unique culinary adventure all while helping the work of WLT – we look forward to seeing you there.
Annual Bird Walks and Social
Whether you’re birding for the first time or you’ve been birding for years, this is an event you won’t want to miss! Each May, WLT hosts our annual bird walks just in time for International Migratory Bird Day! Join us for a brisk, cool morning walk as we look and listen for birds along the trails that wind through Westerly’s woodlands, waterways and grasslands. Keep track of your findings because we meet up after the walks for a social to discuss what we found!
Farm Dinner
Join us for hors d’oeuvres and beverages before being seated in the al fresco dining room where dinner will unfold at a long table in the field. Enjoy fresh, local flavors prepared by remarkable chefs, each course paired with wine. Throughout the meal guests will hear from the people who have grown, caught, raised, and crafted the items on the table. This is our biggest annual event and one that you won’t want to miss!
Setting the Pace for Conservation 5K
Each year, the Westerly Land Trust hosts a 5K around Avondale Preserve and scenic Westerly to benefit our conservation work. Unfortunately, due to gathering restrictions and the need to keep our staff, volunteers, and race participants safe, we have made the decision to cancel the 2020 5K. Should you wish to complete the race on your own and make a donation to WLT, you may do so here. Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at the 2021 race!
