Homeschool Adventures- Spring 2026
The Westerly Land Trust is proud to partner with our community to offer enriching, outdoor opportunities for our local, homeschooled, K-8th graders! Here on WLT preserves, your students will explore, get their hands dirty, experience nature, and have fun with their friends, all while learning directly from the land. Grades 5-8 will dive deeper into topics and use more advanced technology. Read on for more information about these no-cost programs coming this fall:
SPRING Program 1- FEATHERED FRIENDS at Wahaneeta Preserve: Soar into the fascinating world of birds. Become a naturalist and explore what makes birds so special. From tiny songbirds to soaring hawks, learn how to spot, identify, and understand the feathered wildlife that calls our preserve home.
SPRING Program 2- SPROUT SCOUTS at Barlow Nature Preserve: Plants aren’t the only things growing- get ready for a green adventure for growing minds! Dig into the amazing world of plants and discover how plants grow, survive, and support life all around them.

- Programs are open to homeschooled students
