As I am sure you are all aware, the recent COVID-19 situation is having quite the effect on everything at the moment. Due to the unfolding situation, WLT has evaluated all current operations. The WLT staff are working remotely until further notice. While the Land Trust remains fully functional, our offices are not open to foot traffic at this time. If you wish to reach us, the best way to do so is via email:
Jennifer Fusco: [email protected]
Meg Lee: [email protected]
Erika Lebling: [email protected]
WLT has made the decision to cancel all hikes through April 30th.
If you are looking to get outside and connect with nature on your own, the WLT invites you to explore the 25 miles of hiking trails we preserve and maintain right in Westerly. Download our free Trails App and enroll in our Passport Program. If you find and scan all the QR codes hidden along the trails, you’ll win an exclusive t-shirt. To download the app, simply visit your app store and search “Westerly Land Trust” or go to WesterlyLandTrust.app. Please contact [email protected] with any questions regarding the app.
Community means everything to us here at WLT. In this unprecedented time, we remain committed to protecting our lands and doing what is best for the health of our community members. Many of you are looking for things to do to get out of the house so we are hoping that these out hiking trails will provide that for you. As with every other situation at the moment, we still ask that when participating in hiking, you please take precautionary measures with social distancing and remain a safe distance from one another.
Stay safe out there everyone!
Sincerely,
The WLT Team
Jenn, Meg & Erika
