Join us for the unveiling of the Sunnyacres Preserve sign, celebrating our 30th property!  Then enjoy light refreshments and walk over to the hayfield to assemble into the number 30 so a commemorative photo can be taken as a drone flies overhead.  Please SAVE THE DATE and BRING FAMILY AND FRIENDS! Thursday Hike at Shelter Harbor Conservation Forest, Westerly

Join us for our free, guided trail walks on Thursdays. We will visit various local conservation properties, including some of our Westerly Land Trust preserves. Walks are between 1 ½ to 3 hours and are open to all ages with our target group being agile seniors. Please keep in mind that these are wooded trails with stumps, roots and rocks so be sure to wear hiking boots or good walking shoes. If the weather is icy you should bring stabilizers…

Pawcatuck River Clean Up Paddle Trip from Bradford to Potter Hill

Please meet at 8:30 at the RI DEM boat launch on Route 91 in Bradford, across the street from the former Bradford Dye Assoc.  Boats will be unloaded and some cars will be shuttled to the take out point at the Potter Hill dam.  Boats will launch at 9:00 and the clean-up will conclude at roughly 3:30.  Volunteers please bring your kayak or canoe and life vest as well as a lunch, water and gloves.  WLT will provide snacks at…

The first Saturday of every month, WLT leads a health-conscious hike at Dr. John Champlin Glacier Park Trail (Kettle Close Trailhead) as part of the Park Rx Program.
